Comprehensive - Independent - No Jargon - No Selling - Great Value!
We specialise in helping homeowners tackle energy costs and improve efficiency. Our comprehensive home energy audit assesses your entire home - room by room - to identify wasted energy, inefficient heating, and costly electricity usage. After our visit, you’ll receive a detailed, easy-to-follow report outlining practical, cost-effective steps to reduce energy consumption, lower your bills and help the environment.
We've found that many people have purchased solar and battery systems, but don't make the most of their investment.
Kill A Watt's services can help you use them to their full potential, reducing your bills and further helping the envionment.
Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
There MUST be a responsible adult with us at all times. The visit is a great time to hear your concerns and for you to ask any questions, but also for us to ask questions as we review each room. So having someone there who knows about the house is essential.
Visits tend to take 2-3 hours or more depending upon the size of the property. That's partially because we're there to answer any questions you may have during the assessment.
Reports are typically around 15 pages in length and we aim (but can't guarantee) to have them with you within a week of the visit.
At present we do not do EPC assessments, but this is something we are monitoring. EPCs are in general NOT an effective way of finding many actionable items to reduce energy bills, unlike our home energy audits.
No, we are currently not qualifified for heat loss assessments that may be required for gas boiler or heat pump installations.
